The beaches open for swimming in late May each year, but there are plenty of other fun activities to enjoy during the cooler months. The beach features a scenic biking trail and tennis courts and there is a special area for senior citizens with chess tables, bocce courts and benches. Fishing and kayaking are other popular activities at this beach. During the summer season there are lifeguards on duty from 10am to 6pm. Children will love splashing in the sea turtle fountain.
