Egg Shop NYC is a bright little restaurant totally focused on eggs and what goes best with eggs – bacon, avocado, and good bread. Located in NYC’s Nolita neighborhood, Egg Shop is enormously popular and folks wait for an hour for what is basically an egg sandwich. But it is well worth it, because the sandwiches and bowls are divine. They use cage-free, organic eggs and organic, locally sourced produce. The breads are fresh and delicious, the eggs are oozing, the bacon is crisp, and the cocktails are generous and imaginative. The most popular items on the menu are The Beast, a pulled pork sandwich with an egg, and The Spandex, a quinoa bowl.
