Bridgewater residents and visitors are fortunate to have the Duke Island Park close to their city. The park provides a range of recreational activities to keep all ages actively enjoying an outdoor adventure. Visitors are encourages to stop by the Visitors Center where you can get all the information you need to enhance your enjoyment of the park. Many people bring along a picnic to enjoy at one of five picnic areas, one of which is suitable for wheelchairs. Activities include walking or hiking along the trails, cycling and fishing in the Raritan River, which partially surrounds the park. Winter activities include supervised ice skating and cross-country skiing.
