Review:

Crown Center is a shopping and entertainment district on Grand Boulevard that overlooks a plaza with an ice rink and offers a variety of entertainment for the whole family. The complex features three levels of shops and restaurants, live theatres, including the Coterie Theatre, which presents both classic and contemporary shows, a set of grand open-air fountains, an ice-skating rink and walkways over the streets leading to Union Station. Notable stores within the complex include the Paul László-designed Halls department store, Crayola ® Kansas City, Function Junction, and a variety of cafés and restaurants. A movie theater on the third floor and a nationally-renowned children’s theater provides endless entertainment, and the 45-story Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, a Westin, and two upmarket residential apartment blocks offer comfortable accommodations. The complex also features beautifully maintained gardens and grounds with grassy lawns, parks, and urban spaces with water features, fountains, and sculptures.
