Occupying seven acres in the middle of Buttonwood Park, the Buttonwood Park Zoo is a wonderful zoo that has been proudly accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Despite its small size, the zoo houses more than 200 species of animals from all over the world, including elephants, black bears, and primates from South America.

Visitors are welcome to explore the zoo at their leisure, and zookeeper chats about specific animals are held several times a day. Kids will also enjoy the zoo's carousel and train ride, and every Monday, the zoo hosts a live music and puppet show for younger visitors.
