Widely regarded as one of the state's best examples of Greek Revival architecture, the Old Whaling Church, Edgartown Liturgical Arts Center is a historic church that was constructed in 1843 for the town's Methodist whaling captains. The church is one of the most important landmarks in the area, and these days, it's also used as a lovely ceremony space for weddings with up to 470 guests. The interior of the building boasts an elegant curved ceiling and a stunning trompe l'oeil mural, and a restored pipe organ and beautiful Steinway grand piano are available for use.
