Review:
The historic village of Winterport has long been a lovely little community on the banks of the Penobscot River. Winterport Winery aims to add to that feeling of community and history with their selection of incredibly tasty fruit wines, many of which boast awards. Their wines are sophisticated and elegant, and pair well with many different types of food. Winterport Winery’s tasting room hours vary depending on the season, but visitors who manage to snag a seat and a tasting here are in for a real treat. Even those who don’t love wine will find something to enjoy, because Winterport Winery makes and serves their own beer as well, under the moniker Penobscot Bay Brewery.
