The Peninsula Marina is situated approximately two miles away from the Barren River Dame, along the shoreline of the scenic Barren River Lake. The marina features unleaded gas pumps, women’s bathrooms, men’s bathrooms, and a store with extensive offerings, such as boat rentals, cold drinks, ice, supplies, and bait.
Formerly known as Sawyer Landing, Marty and Tim Craycroft purchased the marina in 2004, changing its name to the Peninsula Marina. In 2019, the Rubrights bought the Peninsula Marina at Barren River Lake and aim to provide the best service and marina available. The full-service marina offers more than 275 boat slips.
