Review:

More than just an inspirational garden, Yew Dell Botanical Gardens is internationally recognized as a leading center of horticultural learning as well as a being a garden of historic importance. The original gardens were established around the late 1940’s by Theodore Klein and his family. Today, visitors can still see several of the original garden features as well as several other later additions. Highlights include the sunken rock garden, the secret garden, the kitchen garden and the traditional English walled garden. There are also some woodland trails to explore and a wonderful plant market where avid gardeners can buy plants to take home. The center hosts regular workshops and lectures.
