Review:

Porcini has been a staple of fine Italian cuisine in Louisvilleā€™s, historic neighborhood of Crescent Hill for over two decades. Reminiscent of a restaurant found in Italy, the interior features stone walls, exposed brick, polished wood, white-linen topped tables, and elegant scenic paintings creating a romantic and intimate dining experience. Executive Chef, John Plymate has created exquisitely crafted menus by using produce and meats procured from local farms. He offers an extensive list of incredible starters like Bruschetta con Funghi and Calamari Fritti as well as incredible main dishes like his famous Linguini Gamberi Palermo. The latter is made with grilled shrimp, roasted peppers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, toasted pine nuts, capers, basil, and Parmigiano Reggiano.
