Review:

Located in northern Italy, Verona is famously the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. This UNESCO world heritage city has much to offer lovers of history, culture, and architecture.

Verona is world famous for its Music and Opera Season which is staged in the awe-inspiring Arena - a Roman Amphitheatre which dates back to 30 AD; if you cannot attend a show you can join a guided tour of the Arena. Other tourist highlights include exploring the Historic Center, visiting Juliet’s house, sipping a cocktail or coffee on Piazza Bra and admiring the beautiful Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore and the Duomo di Santa Maria Matricolare.
