Review:

Sorrento is a sparkling jewel on Italy’s magnificent Amalfi coast. The town is filled with beautiful pastel buildings, side-walk cafes and plenty of atmosphere.

There are also several historic and artistic attractions to satisfy culture seekers. At the heart of the town you will find the charming Piazza Tasso, surrounded by character-filled little streets full of shops and restaurants. Historic attractions include the Cloister of San Francesco (dating back to the 8th century), the 15th century Sorrento Cathedral and the 9th century Oratory of Sant’ Antonino. You can take a ferry from the port to visit the famous Blue Grotto sea cave or spend a day visiting the ruins of Pompeii.
