The Tea Room is one of the most iconic and historic event venues in the state of Iowa. Located within the core of the downtown area of Des Moines, the historic building has had its elegance restored, offering a captivating wedding venue for couples in the Des Moines area. The Tea Room’s grand space is great for large receptions, featuring Juliet balconies, a dance floor, a stage, both restored and original ornate plasterwork, and floor-to-ceiling windows. For more intimate, smaller weddings, the Jubilee Room and the Garden Room serve as the perfect wedding venue for between 100 and 150 guests.
