The Vintage Fire Museum is home to a nationally recognized collection of fire engines and many different artifacts that share the country’s story of firefighting since the 1700’s, offering a unique museum for visitors of all ages to explore in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The renowned historic fire engine and equipment collection was originally started by Fred Conway, a successful local businessman, with the oldest piece in the collection dating back to 1756. Guests can take a guided tour of the museum, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays in January and February, as well as on Tuesdays to Thursday from March to December.
