The Big Four Bridge extends across the Ohio River, connecting the city of Jeffersonville in Indiana to the bustling city of Louisville in Kentucky. The bridge is designed for bicycle and pedestrian use and is named for the “Big Four Railroad,” or also known as the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway. At the end of the bridge in Historic Downtown Jeffersonville is the Big Four Station Park, which features a playground, fountains, a pavilion, a bike sharing station, restrooms, plenty of green space, and a farmers market from 9:00am until 12:00pm on Saturdays.
