Review:

The Howard Steamboat Museum and Mansion transports guests back to the “Steamboat Era” of the United States. The gorgeous 1894 mansion was built by the Howards of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who were premier steamboat buildings. This historic house contains a grand staircase, intricate carvings, stained-glass windows, brass chandelier, and original furnishing that are a sight to see alone, however, the Howard Steamboat Museum also displays half-hull models, paintings, photographs, models, and several other artifacts for visitors to see. The unique museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm and on Sundays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
