Located within the 3,000-acre O’Bannon Woods State Park is the historic O'Bannon Woods Pioneer Farmstead. The homestead site is a fascinating recreation of a mid-19th century farmstead and buildings. In addition to exploring these wonderful structures, you’ll also be able to see a unique, fully-restored three-story hay press barn. Interpretive panels allow visitors to delve into the history of the area and learn fun tidbits about life on a homestead. Other recreational activities you can participate in in the surrounding state park include biking, boating, canoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, swimming, and much more.
