To add beauty, guest rooms have freshly-cut flowers in them; for sleeping comfort Sage Hill Inn uses quality linens. All guests of the inn, no matter which room or cottage, are served a complimentary full breakfast and a three-course evening meal for every night of their stay.

The main building of the Sage Hill Inn has a library stocked with DVDs, books, and games for the use of the guests. The dining room has a 24-hour supply of cookies, baked that day, for guests to snack on.

The four guest cottages at the Sage Hill Inn are quiet, private, and a few minutes’ walk from the main building.

Maurice’s Cottage has one bedroom, a living room, a dining room, a full kitchen, and a roomy bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. The living room is set around a beautiful limestone fireplace, contemporary furnishings, and a 42” satellite TV with DVD player. In the bedroom there is a king bed with brass posters, and a second TV and DVD player. The modern kitchen sports a large fridge and freezer, an oven, stove top, microwave, and dishwasher. Maurice’s Coach House is an intimate studio cottage with a modern open-plan design. The coach house contains a king bed, a small sitting area with an HDTV and DVD player, and a kitchenette with a small fridge, a sink, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A double-sided propane fireplace is a special feature of this cottage. The stunning bathroom is paved with river stones, has a large shower, and a separate whirlpool tub with a window. Outside, guests can sit on the front or back porch under the Texas stars or sun.

The Ranch House cottage is the biggest of the four, and contains three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and is over 2,000 square feet. Indoors guests can sit around the wood-burning fireplace, watch TV, and enjoy the modern art and contemporary furnishings. The bedrooms have king beds. Most guests will spend their time outdoors soaking in the private eight-person jetted cedar hot tub in the woods behind the cottage, or chatting around the large fire pit. The Nance Suite occupies the entire third floor of one of the inn’s buildings, giving its guests panoramic views of the hill country and the city of Austin. The bedroom contains a king bed, another TV and DVD player, and a private balcony. The galley kitchen consists of a sink, fridge, and coffee maker. The lovely bathroom has a large walk-in shower and an even larger marble whirlpool tub.

The Toalson Suite is on the ground floor, and has both a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa, and a twin bed in an alcove, perfect for a child. The suite also includes a galley kitchen with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker, a large whirlpool tub with a separate shower, and a private deck with views of Austin to the north.

The hotel rooms are located on the first, second, and third floor of the main building. Guests wishing the pleasure of a whirlpool to soak in should choose the Hartson Room, the Michaelis Room, the Hays Room, or the Wallace Room. Galley kitchens are available in the Hartson Room, or the Schlemmer Room. It offers massages, body treatments, and facials, and has a relaxation lounge and outdoor deck attached to it for the use of spa guests. The massage offerings include the traditional Swedish massage, Deep Tissue rubs, Couples’ massages, pre-natal massages, reflexology, and Reiki, which treats the radiant heat that flows through and around every person.

Body treatments include the Full Body Sugar Polish, which exfoliates with sugar and essential oils. The Herbal wrap uses local herbs; the Full Body Mud Masque exfoliates, scrubs, and includes a neck and scalp massage. The Sage Hil Facial starts with massage of the hands, feet, neck, and shoulders.
