The Saint Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church in the mountain resort town of Incline Village, Nevada was the first Catholic parish to be established on the Nevada side of the scenic Lake Tahoe. The parish gets its beginning from the dedication and faith of a handful of Catholics in the local area who were able to persuade Bishop Dwyer of Reno to send a priest for the people of Crystal Bay and Incline Village. Visitors can still see the original tabernacle of the Saint Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church, as well as the “view windows,” Stations of the Cross, and stained-glass windows.
