The world-class UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center, or TERC, is dedicated to research, public outreach, and education on lakes, as well as the surrounding airsheds and watersheds. Visitors can learn about the lake ecosystem and why it’s changing, discover how they can help keep Lake Tahoe blue, and explore the many interactive exhibits. The Tahoe Science Center, located at the research center in Incline Village, features the latest findings from the Tahoe Environmental Research Center and is open for tours from 1:00pm until 5:00pm, Tuesday through Friday, as well as on Saturday throughout the summer season.

4. Saint Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church

The Saint Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church in the mountain resort town of Incline Village, Nevada was the first Catholic parish to be established on the Nevada side of the scenic Lake Tahoe. The parish gets its beginning from the dedication and faith of a handful of Catholics in the local area who were able to persuade Bishop Dwyer of Reno to send a priest for the people of Crystal Bay and Incline Village. Visitors can still see the original tabernacle of the Saint Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church, as well as the “view windows,” Stations of the Cross, and stained-glass windows.

The local eatery features outdoor patio seating for around thirty people and a dining room with around twenty-five seats. The beloved burger dining establishment in the scenic town of Incline Village serves burgers made from three different types of beef: chuck, short rib, and sirloin. However, Inclined Burgers and Brews can also accommodate customers with gluten-free diets or are vegetarian or vegan. The food here is also complemented by the fully-stocked bar. The restaurant is open daily from 9:30am until 8:00pm.
