Silver Strand State Beach is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in the country for campers. The beaches stretch for miles along the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay, providing an exceptional recreational facility. There are no tent sites - the campground only accepts campers who have fully-self-contained RV’s, trailers and motor homes – this means that your rig must have its own toilet, running water and holding tank – there are no restroom blocks or showers for overnight campers. On-site activities include swimming, surfing, boating, paddling, water skiing, volleyball and fishing. The check-in time is 2pm, and only back-in vehicles can be accommodated on the services sites.
