Review:

The Chateau de la Mogere is one of the Folies, which was built in the 18th century by architect Jean Giral, for Fulcran Limouzin, one of the king’s secretaries. The front facade of the mansion is beautiful, with two stories of scenic windows and a triangular pediment above the center. The grounds are lined by hedges and dotted with stately, tall trees, with a gorgeous formal garden that features a massive fountain made of thousands of tiny seashells. The interior of the building has been kept true to its 18th century style. Visitors can tour the building and its grounds to step back in time and get a close look at what life was like for the French aristocracy at this time.
