Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:
If you enjoy beer you will certainly enjoy a day trip to New Ulm, southwest of Minneapolis, where Schell’s Brewery has been producing palate-pleasing German beer since 1860. The brewery is one of just a handful of breweries which managed to survive Prohibition, and has continued to be at the forefront of beer trends and crazes through the decades. Initially the brewery only made traditional German beer but these days you will find a large selection of popular varieties including IPA, Bavarian and Austrian Lagers and some innovative new additions like their Red Citrus Lager and a Grapefruit Radler. You can join a brewery tour and tasting on weekend afternoons in winter or daily from May to September.
