Lake Tawakoni State Park is located about 90 minutes west of Fort Worth where it protects over 370 acres of forest, 50 miles of shoreline and a huge reservoir called Lake Tawakoni. The park is a great place for day trippers who want an exhilarating day of outdoor recreation or relaxation. Here you can pull on your hiking boots or bring your bicycle and set off to explore a network of trails, most of which are easy and suitable for families.
