The town of Waco is literally bursting at the seams with a long list of attractions for all ages which means that day trippers will need to do some prioritizing. Visitors who love history, art and culture will want to explore historic downtown, cross the 1870’s Suspension Bridge, visit the Martin Museum of Art and a few of the town’s historic House and Garden Museums. If you are more interested in outdoor activities you can head straight to Brazos Park East, the Cotton Belt Trail (for hiking and biking), the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course or Hawaiian Falls Water Park. There is a free trolley service running throughout the Silo District to make it easy to access the historic downtown restaurants and shopping.
