Fisherman’s Cottage is an iconic dining destination on the Isle of Wight and one of the longest standing pubs on the island. Located at the far end of Shanklin Esplanade with beautiful ocean views, Fisherman’s Cottage is Shanklin’s original dining pub on the beach and is renowned for its hearty home-cooked lunches and dinners. Diners can enjoy a variety of traditional pub classics such as homemade chili, fisherman’s pie, burgers and fries, and breaded scampi, along with delicious seafood dishes, including the famous fish and chips, which are hailed as being the best on the island. The dog- and the child-friendly pub is open on a seasonal basis, from April through October, and serves lunch and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday.
