Review:

Commonly referred to by its acronym TIM, the Textil- und Industriemuseum is a museum located inside a former spinning mill. The museum primarily focuses on the city's textile industry during the 19th century, and exhibits include a fabric sample book with designs from as far back as the 1780s, a collection of working textile machines, and a display that discusses the lives of former textile workers. For a small additional fee, visitors can also see weaving and knitting machines in use. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, and guided tours are available for groups.
