Review & FAQ:
Part of a marionette theater that has been producing puppet theater shows since 1948, the Augsburger Puppentheatermuseum is a family-friendly museum with a large collection of puppets from all over Europe. The puppet displays include plenty of information about the puppets and the shows they appeared in, and there is a small room that plays old television shows based on the puppets. The museum also offers an interactive play area for children. Guided tours are available in English and several other languages, and visitors can also watch a puppet show, although most are only performed in German.
