Review:

The Alley Cantina is a family bar and restaurant with music every day of the year inside the oldest building left standing in Taos. The building was constructed in the 16th century by the local Pueblo Native Americans and was used as a Chihuahua Trail Outpost. The cantina was used as the office of a former Governor and has operated as a restaurant since 1944. The Alley Cantina opened in 1997 and serves burgers and sandwiches, salads, fish and shrimp, and New Mexico favorites such as Chile Rellenos, Carne Adovada, Burritos, Enchiladas, and tacos.
