Portland Book Festival is the largest literary festival in the Pacific Northwest. During this one-day event held at the Portland’s Southwest Park Blocks and at the Portland Art Museum, local and national writers present their work on stage and during pop-up readings and workshops. There are activities for readers of all ages and interests, writing workshops, a large book fair, food from local food trucks, visit to the Portland Art Museum galleries, and much more. Some of the festival events take place at such venues as the First Congregational United Church of Christ, the Old Church, Oregon Historical Society, and others.
