A Homestead Brew takes a farm-to-table approach with its brewing, which led to the creation of their own hop farm in 2012. This is now a locally-owned family hop farm that sits on the same land the owners’ grandfather used for his homestead more than 100 years ago. They now provide quality locally, grown hops to home brewers and breweries alike.
They offer a range of beers, including Dandy’s Last Stand Sour Ale, The Tycoon White Wheat Ale, Amber Waves Amber Ale, Bicentennial IPA, Barrel Aged Farmhouse Sour, The Dandy (a barrel aged Belgian triple), Love Thy Neighbor - Mulberry Sour, West Elderberry Sour, Pheasantennial Vienna Lager, Claim Shack American Pale Ale, and Potsdam Dunkel. You can visit the farm on Fridays from 5 pm to sunset, Saturdays from 2 pm to sunset, or any other day by reservation only. The farm also regularly hosts events, such as festivals, beer dinners, and more.
