Review:

Boasting 12 stages and more than 500 musicians, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival celebrates the diverse music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana. As the name implies, the festival has no shortage of jazz musicians, but it also offers everything from gospel music to rap to country. Held on the last weekend of May and the first weekend of April, the festival itself takes place during the day on the Fair Grounds Race Course. However, during the festival days, visitors can also enjoy an incredible number of unaffiliated shows in the city's bars and nightclubs.
