Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

The USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park honor the fleet attack submarine, the USS Bowfin (SS-287), that fought in the Pacific during WWII. Launched precisely one year after the Japanese attack on Oahu, the submarine helped coin the phrase ‘Silent Service’ and now calls Pearl Harbor her permanent home. Proudly moored near the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin Submarine is open to the public for tours that take visitors back in time to the age of WWII submarines and their brave crews and the vital role they played in winning the war in the Pacific. The National Historic Landmark offers two self-guided tours - the Submarine Tour and the VIP Captain’s Tour, both of which include free audio guides in multiple languages.
