The Trumpeter Inn, which dates back to 1989, is located on San Juan Island and promises guests beautiful views. Each of the six guest rooms has a private bath and pastoral views. Expect luxurious linens, down comforters, Sedona mattresses, Egyptian cotton towels, plush guest robes, slippers, iPod/MP3 clock radios, and chocolate truffles from Harry and David. Other amenities include wireless internet access, make-up mirrors, and hair dryers.
The property covers five acres where you can find alpacas and miniature goats, while cattle and horses roam adjacent properties. The garden is perfect for relaxation with panoramic views, which you can also view from the private patio. The inn is designated a Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary, which means that guests can see plenty of wildlife such as ducks, trumpeter swans, fox, and deer, yet it is just five minutes from shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Inside, you can use the HDTV in the common area, borrow a book, or cook on the propane BBQ grill. Guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast in the morning and cookies, juice, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee at any time.
