The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center lies on nearly fifty acres of historic past and ravine forest in Johns Creek. The nature preserve features two miles of trails that take guests past wildlife, native plants, wildflowers, spring seeps, and a creek with rocky shoals. Visitors can also explore replica Native American dwellings in the woods to learn respect for those who lived in the area before, as well as the Heritage Village to get an understanding of the proud rural heritage of the area between the mid-1800s and the mid-1900’s. Other highlights include a farm museum and exploration zones.

2. Six Bridges Brewing

Six Bridges Brewing is the first brewery to open in the city of Johns Creek, Georgia and gets its name from the six bridges in the area that at one time crossed the Chattahoochee River. Visitors can spend some time in the taproom and enjoy sixteen beers available on tap, watch their favorite teams on the two huge television screens, play board games, or relax at one of the shaded picnic tables in the outdoor beer garden. Guests can also tour the production facility on Thursdays and Sundays. Six Bridges Brewing is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday.

3. Senor Patron Mexican Restaurant

The Señor Patron Mexican Restaurant, with locations in both Johns Creek and Midtown Atlanta, offers authentic, fresh Mexican fare within a unique dining atmosphere.
