One of the more unique locations on our list, the so called Gingerbread House is one of the most romantic and charming homes in Savannah. The house is officially named the Asendorf House after its original owner. However, its beautiful Steamboat Gothic architecture may cause one to imagine they’ve stepped inside the pages of a storybook. The home is located in the middle of the Victorian District and is nestled among beautiful, century-old oak trees. The interior furnishings exude Victorian charm, which is perfect for photographs. There is even a beautiful fireplace, where couples often choose to exchange vows. There is a conservatory-style ballroom, which is great for use as a reception venue, as well as an outdoor space that can also be used.
