Ships Of The Sea Maritime Museum is a museum dedicated to 18th and 19th-century ships and includes model ships, artwork, and artifacts related to the time period. The museum’s exhibits are housed inside the Scarbrough House, which is the historic home of William Scarbrough, who used to be one of the main owners of the Steamship Savannah as well as the president of the local steamship company. The home is surrounded by beautifully and carefully planted gardens, which are available for rentals. Renters can choose between two garden spaces that feature catering facilities and a 5,400-square-foot covered, open-air assembly room space.
