Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions is the only outfitter offering canoe, kayak, and inner tube rentals on the Ocmulgee River. There are two float trips available for those who rent canoes and kayaks, including the Half Day Adventure and the Quick Float. Both trips offer beautiful views of the river and the possibility to see some of the area's wildlife, such as frogs, fish, deer, wild hogs, and perhaps even a bald eagle. The Quick Float is a fairly smooth ride and takes 1 to 3 hours with opportunities for swimming. The Half Day Adventure is a longer trip that has some Class 1 rapids on the trip from Pope's Fear to Amerson River Park. Phone: 478-733-3386
