An absolute treat for anyone interested in Railway history, the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth has over 90 individual pieces of rolling stock for visitors to admire. The huge collection is spread over 30 acres and includes the original 1871 Duluth Train Station, which has been fully restored. The collection includes around 20 locomotives, both steam and diesel powered and around 17 passenger coaches including sleeper coaches and dinning/bar coaches, cabooses, freight cars and more. Children will enjoy the model railway exhibit and the miniature train ride. The museum hosts regular special events including Halloween Train or Treat and their popular Caboose Days which offer fun for the whole family.
