Review:
McDaniel Farm Park is situated on a real cotton farm which dates back to the 1930’s. Although the farm is now operated as a park, many of the historic structures and equipment have been restored and are on display for the public to visit. These include a furnished farmhouse, a carriage house, barn and blacksmith shed. To learn more about farming in the 20th century you can join one of the guided farm tours offered from Tuesday to Saturday. Besides the historic elements of the farm, the park provides an important outdoor recreation facility where you can go walking/running around a picturesque 3 mile trail. In addition, there is a large fenced dog park, picnic pavilions and clean restrooms.
