The Lakeside Inn first opened for business in 1983, offering 10 guestrooms. A great number of additions and renovations have been undertaken since then and these days this gracious historic hotel boasts 90 guestrooms and suites surrounded by mature gardens. The Inn is located right on the edge of Lake Dora, offering a beautifully appointed dining room overlooking the gardens, Tremain’s Tavern for drinks, light meals and nightly entertainment and a 200 foot porch furnished with traditional rocking chairs. On site activities include swimming, boat tours, sea-plane rides, carriage rides, nature walks and much more. The inn is perfectly suited to weddings and reunions.
