Haulover Park is about 1.5 miles in length in Miami Beach, located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The park is known for soft sand, blue waters, and abundant space for picnicking, in addition to having a dog park, golf course, and tennis center. The park also sells kites and hosts workshops in kite-making. Visitors can rent beach wheelchairs if needed. Haulover Park is also home to the county’s only “clothing optional” stretch of beach at the northernmost 0.4-mile, officially approved by the Miami-Dade County government. It is the largest nudist public beach in the country.
