Located in the Florida Panhandle near Marianna, Florida Caverns State Park is part of the Florida State Parks system and offers unique cave tours. Florida Caverns State Park features spectacular dry (air-filled) caves with spectacular formations of limestone flowstones, draperies, stalactites, stalagmites, and soda straws and has excellent boating, canoeing, and fishing opportunities at the Blue Hole spring and on the Chipola River. The 1,319-acre park also offers picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, and camping with 35 campsites featuring electric and water hookups for RV and tent camping. There are also three RV/tent sites with stables for visitors who bring their horses.
