Anastasia State Park is a 1,600-acre state park located on a peninsula on the Atlantic coast of Anastasia Island and is home to a diverse range of ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Boasting more than 4 miles of beautiful white sandy beach, an estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, and a wonderful nature trail that winds through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes, Anastasia State Park offers a wide variety of things to see and do. Camping is available, with 139 campsites located a short walk or bike ride from the beach, and there is a picnic and grill area, a small gift shop, and concessions for the rental of bicycles, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. Other activities to enjoy in Anastasia State Park include hiking, mountain biking, beachcombing, birdwatching, and swimming.
