The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum in Paradise, Michigan has become one of the most popular places for the cultural tourism industry in Michigan, drawing more than 75,000 visitors every season. The Shipwreck Museum is open from 10:00am until 6:00pm from the beginning of May until the end of October. A tour of the grounds include a self-guided tour of the exhibits, a 20-minute film, and guided tours of the 1923 Surfboat House and the 1861 Lightkeeper’s Quarters. Visitors can also join one of the guided climbs of the Whitefish Point Light Tower with a small donation.
