Review:

Located on Eagle Street, Albany City Hall is a historic building and the seat of government for the city of Albany. Built in 1883 by Henry Hobson Richardson in Romanesque style, City Hall features a 202 foot (62 meter) tall carillon tower which is one of few municipal carillons in the U.S.

The carillon, built by the John Taylor Company from England, was added in 1927 as a memorial to the soldiers who lost their lives during World War I. Listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, the building houses the office of the mayor, city and traffic courts, and other city service offices.
