Located in what was once the Bay State House hotel and headquarters for the Worcester Automobile Club in downtown Worcester, Deadhorse Hill is a chic-rustic restaurant serving elevated American fare using seasonal ingredients provided by local farmers and fishermen. The menu changes often and depends on what is in season. The dining room is spacious and rustic with a high tin ceiling, exposed bricks, and a sliding door that opens to the sidewalk, creating the perfect background for Chef Jared Forman’s artistry. Lunch is a casual affair with fresh soups, imaginative sandwiches, and salads. Dinner is more formal and offers a nice range of interesting small plates and fabulous large dishes such as Chimney Hill lamb roulade with cauliflower, sesame crackers, and safflower yogurt.
