Located on Foster Street in downtown Worcester, the DCU Center is a convention center and an indoor arena. Known as the Centrum in Worcester, Worcester’s Centrum Center, and Worcester Centrum, the center hosts a variety of events such as concerts, conventions, meetings, sporting events, trade shows, and more.

With a seating capacity of about 12,000 people, the center initially opened in 1982 with a concert by Frank Sinatra. Since then, seating capacity has increased to 14,800 thanks to the addition of balconies. In 1997, a convention center was added to the complex, which added 50,000 square feet of exhibition space as well as a 12,144 square foot ballroom, 11 meeting rooms, and a kitchen.
