Review:

Set in the middle of one of the most historic wine regions of the United States, Jefferson Vineyards is located only about ten minutes outside the main area of Charlottesville. Neighboring James Monroe's Highland and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, the winery is open daily for wine tastings. Wines at Jefferson Vineyards range from rich and full-bodied to refreshing and delicate, such as Petite Verdot, Riesling, and Chardonnay. The winery is also one of the state’s highest awarded wineries for Viognier. Guests can choose from the Classic Tasting or the Library Reserve wine tasting, both with souvenir wine glasses.
