Greensboro visitors are invited to come and be astounded by the vast variety of locally endemic plants which thrive in the 7 acre natural wetlands of The Bog Garden at Benjamin Park. Here you can meander along three trails, including raised boardwalks and stone pathways. The paved areas run along the edge of the lake and through parts of the extensive property which was once a bird sanctuary and part of Starmount Farms. A beautiful 150-foot re-circulating waterfall was added as a highlight of the park and provides the ideal backdrop for bird-watching and relaxation. The park is open to the public from May to February and is free to visit.
